The studio has also extended the licensing agreement with Hulu and plans to expand its distribution across other platforms. Additionally, Community is available on Amazon Prime Video in some international territories, and it’s already available on Netflix in Ireland and Latin America.

Although Community was originally canceled after six seasons, Yahoo! Screen picked up the series’ sixth and final season. Although the NBC network couldn’t afford to renew the show, the actors’ stock has soared past the pay rate for television. This has meant that the show couldn’t afford to renew the series, but Yahoo! Screen bought the rights to produce the sixth season. Netflix is the new home for “Community” and “Parks and Recreation,” two other former NBC comedies.
