When it comes to streaming television shows, Netflix is hands down the best choice. With so many shows and genres to choose from, Netflix has something for everyone. In this article, I’ll discuss what genres are best for different audiences, as well as how to find new shows to watch. The best part? You can stream thousands of episodes for free! Read on to discover the best shows and movies available on Netflix. We’ve all watched a show or two on Netflix and were hooked by the end!

The Haunting of Hill House

If you’re looking for a creepy television series, consider The Haunting of Hill House on Netflix. This anthology horror series, loosely based on the Shirley Jackson novel, is both frightening and moving. Directed by Mike Flanagan (Gerald’s Game), The Haunting of Hill House takes place in two time frames, presenting the Crain family’s story in the present and the events that led up to 1992.

While it’s an enjoyable show, The Haunting of Hill House on Netflix has some problems. It’s part of the ten-episode-six-hour-of-actual-story syndrome that has plagued recent Netflix originals. Not all performances are of high quality, and the ghosts are sometimes overplayed. One character said that the ghosts are simply secrets and guilt, reversing the famous opening graf line.

Money Heist

Watch Money Heist on Netflix to feel like a true outlaw. This crime comedy is reminiscent of Game of Thrones, and the show’s plot is realistic at first but then quickly veers into the quasi-apocalyptic realm. Its world-traveling location shoots and cash-infused production design keep you on your toes. And the gang’s red jumpsuits and sense of rebellion are enticing as well.

The show was a hit in Spain, and has a global following on Netflix. The series follows a group of thieves as they pull off complex heists, with law enforcement officers trying to catch them. The drama is filled with emotional highs and soapy entanglements, all of which wrap up in a satisfyingly happy ending. The Netflix version also has a South Korean remake, starring Park Hae-soo.

The Office

It is hard to believe, but NBCUniversal’s “The Office” is not available on Netflix anymore. The show was canceled on Netflix on Dec. 31, 2016. In the end, the network decided to move it to a different streaming service called Peacock. That streaming service offers original content and never-before-seen special features. The new streaming service is called Peacock and will make the first two seasons of the show available online for free.

Although the series is leaving Netflix, it’s still available on other streaming services. Peacock offers free access to the first two seasons, as well as bloopers and clip playlists. If you want to watch all nine seasons, however, you can subscribe to a subscription. You can also buy the whole series online. You can also download individual episodes or the entire series. But be sure to watch the show at least a few weeks before it disappears.

The Queen’s Gambit

The latest series to premiere on Netflix is “The Queen’s Gambit,” based on the 1983 novel by Walter Tevis. The series follows Beth Harmon, a young woman who rises to the top of the chess world, while battling addiction and personal demons. The show is adapted by screenwriter Scott Frank, who was nominated for an Academy Award for his work on Logan. It has been praised by critics and fans alike, and has even inspired a resurgence of interest in chess as a sport.

Netflix subscribers can watch the entire series for free. The Queen’s Gambit is now available on Netflix, but it’s not quite ready for prime time just yet. This isn’t to say that you can’t watch the whole thing at once. The best way to see the entire series in its entirety is to watch it on a streaming service like Netflix. You’ll need a Netflix subscription and a 4K or higher device to watch it. Netflix subscribers also need a high-speed Internet connection to stream the show.

Orange Is the New Black

While Orange Is the New Black on Netflix has been a popular series, it’s still difficult to pinpoint how many people watched it each week. This is a problem that Netflix has struggled with, but outside measurement companies have confirmed that it is one of the most-watched original series on Netflix. In addition to its impressive list of awards, Orange Is the New Black has also received numerous Emmy nominations.

The show has earned high marks for its blend of dark comedy and stark horror. Created by Jenji Kohan, “Orange” was inspired by the dark Showtime comedy “Weeds” and the satire of war and institutional bureaucracy. The series explores the complexities of human nature in a broken system. While there are plenty of laughs, there is also a great deal of slapstick and shocking scenes.
